  Indian nationals are required to obtain visas before traveling to Tonga, for tourism purpose. Aside from the valid visa, Indians are also required to present passports with remaining validity of at least 6 months beyond the date of departure from Tonga, onward or return tickets, and evidence of sufficient funds for their stay in the territory in order to be allowed to enter Tonga.
  
  The e Visa is valid for single entry, good for 30 days from the date of issue for a stay up to the expiration date listed on the visa. It is very easy to apply for and does not require sending your physical passport to us for processing. It is the simplest and the fastest way to get your visa. Once your visa application is approved, you will receive the visa copy via email right in your inbox.

  An Electronic Visa or "e Visa" is an electronically issued and stored authority for travel to The Republic of Tonga, which replaces the traditional paper visa process in most cases. You will receive your Tongavisa entirely online – without having to submit your passport for stamping.

  The visitor’s visa issued to travelers is usually valid for 30 days. Indians are advised that it is illegal to take up employment, business or schooling while in Tonga on a visitor’s visa. They must also take careful note of the validity of their visa and make sure not to overstay as anyone in breach of the immigration act may be prosecuted and subject to a term of imprisonment or fine or both.

  Yes. Initially you’ll be granted 30 days stay in Tonga. This can be extended for another 30 days at an additional fee.

  The Tonga visa fee is TOP 70. The visa fee payment must be made at the border/airport immigration officer in Tonga. They only accept TOP currency, so if you don’t have it, they’d let you in the airport to take from ATM or exchange currency, and come back in to pay for it. However, we recommend you carry TOP currency from India itself for a hassle free experience.

  If your requirements are complete, visa should be processed within 1-2 weeks in your email. You have to print this visa to present at the departing city and upon entry to Tonga airport,
