Today, we're heading to Scotland, stopping in Alnwick for its picturesque town and Harry Potter castle. Then, we're off to Edinburgh, Scotland's capital, for a UNESCO World Heritage Site tour with a local guide.
Enjoy coffee and a stroll in Pitlochry. Pass Inverness, visit Urquhart Castle with a Loch Ness boat trip. See Fort Augustus, Fort William, return via Loch Lomond to Glasgow. Nov-Feb: Edinburgh groups visit Pitlochry whiskey distillery, Stirling Castle, The Kelpies before Glasgow.
Today we leave Glasgow for southern Scotland, taking a ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast, Northern Ireland's capital. We'll then continue to Dublin, Ireland, arriving by the end of the day.
Sightseeing tour of the city. A guide will tell us about the history of the city, its Georgian neighbourhoods, its bustling city centre streets and the University. Afternoon free in the Irish capital. You will be able to wonder round the lively banks of the River Liffey and visit its museums or the famous Guinness brewery (admission not included).
After breakfast, end of our services.
