Types of Greece Student Visa:

Long stay visa: Long stay visa is issued to students who are going to Greece for higher studies like for degree courses. The validity of a long term visa depends on the duration of the course. Usually, this visa is issued for 2 years for masters, 3 years for bachelors and 4 years for P.H.D.

Documents required for Greece visa

Passport with a validity of at least 6 months, with a minimum 2 blank pages.

Acceptance letter from the university where you intend to study in Greece, along with the course duration and dates from when the course will commence. A print out of your Campus GreeceID number Cover letter explaining your study project along with your CV. Proof of sufficient funds to cover your tuition fee along with other costs of living in Greece. Medical insurance proof with coverage valid in Greece. Return flight ticket copy (if you are studying for 6 months or less in Greece) OFII Form (Office Greece de Immigration et de Integration) Academic Transcripts of your degrees, diploma, certificates etc. Any other supporting documents as requested by the Greece Embassy

Processing time:

To apply for a student visa, an applicant must follow these steps:-

Step:1 Set up an account: To begin the process, set up an account on the Campus Greece Website. When you complete the registration process, you will receive your Greece login number and credentials.

Step: 2 Send your application and documents to Campus Greece: The step requires you to send your file of specific documents to the assigned Campus Greeceoffice to request an appointment for an academic interview. Step: 3 Request an appointment to the Consulate: To follow the third step, your application must first be accepted by the Consulates to request for an interview. However, in most of the cases, the Schengen Embassy is acceptable to all students who are genuine and hardworking towards career opportunities.

Step: 4 Appear for the Interview: This step requires you to personally go for the appointment and attend the digital photo and Biometrics. While you go for the interview, carry a set of all the documents for safety.

Step: 5 Receive your visa Once you finish all the formalities, Campus Greece will send the details about the verification process to the university that you are applying for. Meanwhile, they will make the final call. If everything gets sorted, you will receive your visa.
