Turkey is one of the simplest and most exciting places on your Turkey travel packages to learn about Islamic culture since it is perched on the border between the Islamic world and the European Union. Turkey is the sixth most visited country in the world on our Turkey honeymoon package, and it's no surprise given the delicious food, the depth of history in Istanbul, the hot air balloon flights over Cappadocia, and the magnificent mosques!

Despite the unrest that the country went through within the last few years with Syria, Turkey is not only a safe destination on our Turkey honeymoon package but also one that We believe everyone should experience once in their life.

What to expect?

If you’re visiting on our Turkey package from Mumbai, know that Turkish is the official language of Turkey. Kurmanji, Arabic, and Zazaki are all frequently spoken languages as well, nevertheless.

Three cities—Istanbul, Constantinople, and Byzantium—and their histories are shown in the huge dome, Christian paintings, and Islamic-Ottoman calligraphy hanging from top galleries. Long lines to enter Hagia Sophia do not dissuade me from praising it, and WE am unable to condemn it in any way. How is it that this man-made structure can inspire such reverence?

Everyone concurred that the building was an architectural masterpiece when it was first built. Despite not being one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, Hagia Sophia had a long-lasting impact on architectural trends. The blue mosque that you will see as part of your Turkey trip cost from India in Istanbul was constructed to surpass the famous because of how majestic the interior and external façade were.

Places to visit in Turkey

On your Turkey tour packages from India, visit the bazaars of Istanbul to the caves in Cappadocia to the pristine turquoise coastline… Here are all the best places to visit in Turkey you won’t want to miss!

The Beautiful Hagia Sophia of Istanbul:

On your trip to Turkey from India, view the historical development of three cities—Istanbul, Constantinople, and Byzantium—is shown in the huge dome, Christian paintings, and Islamic-Ottoman calligraphy hanging from top galleries on your Turkey tour packages from India. We are unable to express any criticism on Hagia Sophia, and the lengthy lines to enter the building do not stop me from praising it. Why is there such reverence for this man-made structure?

Everyone agreed that the building was a work of art when it was first erected. Even though Hagia Sophia isn't one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, it had a long-lasting impact on architectural trends you will witness on your Turkey tour packages from India. The blue mosque in Istanbul was constructed to rival the grandeur of its outside and interior façade.

Although Hagia Sophia's history is fascinating, tourists should go to the upper gallery and remain still there for five minutes. (The ground and upper gallery levels each have two floors. Wear sturdy footwear because it is reached via an unsteady, winding stone stairway!) On your Turkey holiday packages, take a moment to observe the internal architecture of the Hagia Sophia as you proceed. Imagine the skill and attention to detail on your Turkey holiday packages, that went into creating the symbolic balustrades, walls, and ceilings. The Hagia Sophia dome, which usually draws attention, rises 56 metres high and has 40 windows that bring in natural light.

Interesting details about the Hagia Sophia include the fact that it is known as Ayasofya in Turkey.

  • By definition, Hagia Sophia is the Church of Holy Wisdom.
  • Islamic calligraphy plaques from the 19th century were constructed of wood.
  • Hagia Sophia was a Christian church for 916 years
  • It was once the world’s largest domed building.

Take a dip in thermal hot springs in Pamukkale:

The tiered pools with their milky mineral waters on your luxury tour Turkey appear fantastical in photographs and much more so in person. The tepid water will reveal that you are not walking on a hill covered in snow, despite the white mineral deposits giving the impression that you are, on your Turkey holiday packages. One of Turkey's most amazing travel destinations on your cheapest Turkey tour packages from India is this one. Spend a leisurely afternoon swimming, bathing, and unwinding in these special springs on your Turkey packages from Delhi. Go to the top of the hill to examine the old Hierapolis ruins once your fingertips have gone pruney.

Take a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia:

The ultimate bucket list trip is riding in a hot air balloon, and Cappadocia is one of the best places in the world to go on this journey! May or may not be excluded from your Turkey trip cost from India, one of the coolest things to do in Cappadocia is to rise above distinctive rock formations in a sea of vibrant balloons. This will undoubtedly be a highlight of your trip to Turkey. Everyone we spoke to who had taken a hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia was still starry-eyed and said that the experience was well worth the money days afterwards on our Turkey tour packages from Mumbai, Kerala, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore.

Hike through the Valley of Love

Hot air balloon rides above Cappadocia's beauty that are excluded from your Turkey trip cost from India, are captivating, but so is getting up and personal with the flowers and rock formations that adorn the valleys of the area. In addition, on your Turkey honeymoon package from India, view the rock formations in Love Valley as they resemble, well, let's just say that the place is named "Love Valley" for a reason. For this little day trek, you should bring a picnic lunch exclusive of your Turkey trip cost and wear sturdy shoes because you probably won't see many other hikers.

In Göreme, on your India to Turkey tour package, take a nap in a cave.

Two factors draw tourists on our Turkey tourism packages from India from all across Turkey and the rest of the world to the Cappadocia region:

  • Ride a hot air balloon (see above).
  • Dozing off in a cave

We're not suggesting that you sleep with your head in a bat-infested cave on your Turkey trip from India, mind you. Although there are a few alternatives for guests on a budget, the hotels on our 7 days Turkey tour package in the town of Göreme are extremely opulent. To assist you in planning the ideal trip, you can discover recommendations there that break down the top cave hotels in Cappadocia from your Turkey packages from Bangalore and Hyderabad.

Go underground in the city of Derinkuyu:

One of the most distinctive destinations to visit in Turkey is the Cappadocia area, which is famed for its "fairy chimney" cave houses, but what lies under the surface is just as fascinating. One of the oldest Christian communities you dicsover on your Turkey trip packages was in Cappadocia, where many individuals lived underground to avoid persecution. There are thousands involved.

If on your Turkey tour packages for couple, consider remodelling your home and discovering a hidden entrance to Turkey's greatest underground metropolis. In fact, it is how Derinkuyu was found in 1963. Since then, the underground city has been unearthed. It was big enough to house 20,000 people and their cattle.

The maze of cave systems that you’ll see on your Turkey tour from India, which contain locations for cattle, churches, and vineyards, are visible to tourists as they meander through the small tunnels and corridors, inclusive of your India to Turkey trip cost. Under the surface of the ground, they actually did have everything they required!

How to get there: On your Turkey holiday packages from India, Derinkuyu is about 45 minutes by car from Göreme (in the Cappadocia region). You may go there for the day of exploring through buses and even taxis on our Turkey tour package from Kolkata and Bangalore.

Take a walking tour of Istanbul

Istanbul is a genuinely unique city you’ll visit on your cheapest Turkey tour packages since it serves as a bridge between the East and the West and is the only city in the world that can legitimately claim to have residents on two different continents. We strongly advise you to take advantage of this and stay a few days (or longer if your itinerary permits!) on your India to Turkey packages as it's likely to be your entrance point into Turkey and has direct flights to destinations all over the world from two major airports.

Despite being sprawled across two continents, Istanbul is a sizable city on your Turkey and Egypt tour packages from India, yet the majority of its top attractions can be reached on foot and by using some public transportation. Inclusive of your trip to Turkey from India cost, you'll tour iconic monuments like the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Topkap Palace while learning about the development of this historically significant city. Any good walking luxury Turkey tour packages will show visitors the famous Grand Bazaar, Turkey’s largest and oldest covered marketplace, and the Spice Market next door.

Try it out for yourself: On your Turkey couple package, get free Istanbul Tours provides daily group tours of Old Istanbul unless you choose to reserve a private tour guide. The luxury tours in Turkey start at 10:30 in the morning and run around 2.5 hours.

For anyone who wishes to venture off the main route and experience other views from the norm, they also offer a "Parts Unknown" excursion. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. are designated for the Parts Unknown excursions.

To participate in the walking tour, a reservation on our best Turkey tour packages must be made in advance on your Chennai to Turkey, Ahmedabad to Turkey, Delhi to Turkey, Kerala to Turkey tour package. On their website, you may book a room. You will be requested to tip your guide at the end of the tour because entrance costs to the locations are not included in the tour. The advised minimum donation is 10 euros or 100 Turkish Lira per person.

Tip: If you’re female and plan to enter the Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia, you will need to have the appropriate clothing covering your shoulders and legs. The Blue Mosque on your Turkey budget trip from India offers coverups for female visitors, but you can skip the line for that if you come prepared with your own clothes.

Cooking Class in Istanbul, Turkey

Despite the fact that there are numerous places in Turkey on your Turkey trip package from India, where you can take these programmes, the finest one we attended was in Istanbul. Part of your Turkey tour cost from India, you'll not only learn in this session, but you'll also take home a recipe and the skills necessary to make it at home as a gift from Turkey!

Visit Ephesus, a historic city

Part of your cost of Turkey trip from India, visit here. Ephesus, one of Turkey's outstanding historical remains and the former commercial hub of the ancient world, is now a UNESCO World Heritage site that is often visited by visitors. Greek and Roman history in the city date back to the 10th century BC. The old remains of temples, libraries, theatres, homes, and statues may be seen while strolling around the streets for hours on end.

Possibly the most famous building that once stood in this city is the Temple of Artemis, which is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Other buildings include the  impressive Library of Celsus and the Temple of Hadrian.

Long story short: If you’re looking to visit interesting historical places in Turkey, this should be on your itinerary.

Go paragliding over Ölüdeniz:

Most people would agree that the most well-known building that formerly existed in this city was the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The majestic Celsus Library and Hadrian's Temple are two further buildings.

Quick version: If you're considering a trip to Turkey and want to visit some fascinating historical places, put this on your itinerary.

Our Remarks: We had a terrific time flying above Lüdeniz and believe it to be one of the most stunning locations in the world for paragliding. Despite this, we weren't fans of the town itself. It was quite touristic, expensive, and, dare we say it, trashy in our opinion.

It was the first town in Turkey that we genuinely despised, and we were definitely not feeling the mood. We strongly advise making a stop there to fly paragliding over these azure seas if you're in the southern part of the nation, but only for a day or two.

The southern Turkish city of Alanya is another location for paragliding. Alanya is a great place to visit while seeing Turkey because there are so many things to do there.

Sleep in a teepee in paradise:

Farayla is the location on your budget trip to Turkey from India to fulfil your childhood goal of sleeping in a teepee, if you're anything like me. To be quite honest, it doesn't really change much from sleeping in a regular tent, but the setting was what made our trip unique.

Atop a cliff, Shiva Camp offers breathtaking panoramas of the Mediterranean Sea below. This million-dollar vista is available to everyone. At Shiva Camp, a night in a teepee for about $50 USD (quite standard for the region), which includes a hearty breakfast and dinner for two people.

Kabak Beach Turkey:

On your Turkey package for couple, take a 20-minute stroll to the beach to reach one of Turkey's top beaches if you grow tired of staring at the ocean and truly want to dip your toes in the water. This peaceful stretch on azure waves will win your heart even if you won't find powdered sand there.

Despite being relatively far away, Kabak Beach has a few restaurants and even a market where wine is sold. Let's toast to a wonderful afternoon!

Getting there: When on your cheap packages to Turkey, numerous buses go to Faralya from major cities and neighbouring communities. From Lüdeniz, it was a quick and comfortable bus travel for us.

Explore magical Butterfly Valley

On your luxury tours of Turkey, wander through this gorgeous valley filled with wildflowers, fruit trees, and wild goats, and you'll wonder if you've entered a paradise from a novel that has been frozen in time.

A cascading waterfall surrounded by stones and blooming plants may be found about a kilometre from the coast. If you tyre of exploring, unwind on the pebble-strewn beach where the azure ocean laps at your feet. Have We persuaded you to visit this idyllic paradise?

Getting there: Either use ropes and a little bit of rock climbing skill to descend from the settlement above into Butterfly Valley. If you're not a climber, you may take a 20-minute boat journey from Lüdeniz to the valley.

The water taxi leaves the main beach in Ölüdeniz twice each day, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and returns at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. If you want to spend the night in Butterfly Valley, bring a tent, or stay in the very basic accommodation in the valley.

Kayak over the ruins of Kekova

Turkey is less visited by tourists when on your honeymoon in Turkey cost than its more well-known neighbours, Italy and Greece, yet it possesses an astounding number of historical ruins. Part of your Turkey packages cheap, a section along the southern shore that makes up the Lycian Trail is one of the places with a lot of ruins.

As part of your cost of trip to Turkey from India, expect to see an entire city filled with recognisable homes and stores is unrealistic. Even if this isn't a movie, it's nonetheless stunning. You can see the wreckage of a town that was inundated after an earthquake thanks to the clear water. On the coast, there are still ruins that serve as reminders of the people who once called this place home.

The picturesque tiny town of Kalekoy, which can only be reached by water, and part of your Turkey vacation packages all inclusive, will be the destination of the kayak journey. Spend some time in the sun enjoying a leisurely lunch, hiking to some hilltop ruins, snorkeling with turtles and devouring the town’s famous goat milk ice cream.

Experience it for yourself: We booked our kayak tour in the town of Kaş where there were plenty of tour options to choose from. Just be sure to do your research the get the tour best suited to your needs!

Tip: The kayak trip was relaxed and not very difficult or tiring compared with other sea kayaking we’ve done. We would highly recommend taking a kayak trip because it’s an environmentally friendly way to explore and group size is small; but if it’s just not your thing, you can also see the sunken city of Kekova by boat.

Roast marshmallows over the eternal flame of the Chimera

Try it out for yourself: On your Turkey vacation packages, in the village of Kaş, where there were many different tour possibilities, we made our kayaking reservation. Do your homework to get the trip that is most suited to your needs.

In comparison to other sea kayaking we've done, this excursion was easygoing and not very taxing. The submerged city of Kekova can also be seen via boat, but we would highly recommend taking a kayak excursion because it's an eco-friendly method to explore and the party size is small.

You'll halt here when you eventually arrive in a clearing where flames shoot up from the rocky ground. Enjoy a quiet evening alone in the moonlight, or make new friends by offering to share marshmallows with those gathering around the fire! On this mountain with its never-ending fires, the campfire feelings are intense, and you could be tempted to remain all night. Just be careful not to miss your trip back to Olympos because the distance is far to walk!

Advice: Stock up on wine, sticks, and marshmallows in town to take with you so that you don’t rake up you trip to Turkey cost from India! We hadn't considered this, but when we met a couple who were gracious enough to share, it made the trip all the more memorable. If you decide to do this, make sure not to leave any garbage behind.

What to pack: A blanket would have added comfort to our time spent camping out in front of the fire. Additionally, put on strong shoes because the trek will be on difficult terrain at night. Although your driver should provide you a flashlight, it's always a good idea to be ready. WE was happy to get my own flashlight because mine wasn't working.

Holiday like a local in Çeşme

On Turkey's Aegean coast on our Turkey honeymoon package from Mumbai, west of Izmir, is the resort town of eşme, which is surrounded by crystal-clear seas and reachable dive spots. The beauty of Esme is that it hasn't fully caught the attention of travellers from across the world and is largely visited by Turkish tourists, giving it an undiscovered-by-tourists appeal.

Getting there: Flyers may land at the Izmir International Airport, where they can take a shuttle to Esme, which is only a one-hour drive to the west. The bus from Istanbul is another alternative; it will take you around 10 hours, but buses in Turkey are extremely pleasant and provide facilities like toilets and refreshments.

Party the night away in Bodrum

Bodrum, a summertime hotspot and gorgeous beach location on the azure blue Aegean coast, is known as the "St. Tropez of Turkey." Part of your Turkey tour cost, there are plenty of options for entertainment in this seaside paradise, whether you enjoy live music or a bustling club. After a wild night of revelry, take a nap as you catch some rays along the beach or in one of the numerous infinity pools nearby. Bodrum is not merely a party destination. There is a lot of history and culture to be learned. The Bodrum Castle, a castle from the Middle Ages built in the Fourth Century B.C., is surrounded by parallel bays in the city. Using stones from one of the Mausoleums at Halicarnassus, the fortress was constructed. The ruins of which can still be viewed in the area as well.

Castle of Bodrum

You can experience some of the local culture if history isn't your thing. Many eateries serving fresh seafood and regional specialties such traditional stuffed muscles may be found along the seaside. Visit the neighbourhood market to buy fresh olive oils made at the 100-year-old plant in the old town and observe how Turkish carpets are made by local weavers.

There are direct flights to Bodrum's international airport from Istanbul and other places in Europe and Asia. From other significant Turkish cities, you may also take a bus, rent a vehicle, or travel by ship to get there. Ferries to Bodrum arrive on a daily basis from the Greek islands of Cos and Rhodes.
