Day 1

Welcome to Athens! Athens is the capital city of Greece, known for its rich history and cultural significance. It is often referred to as the cradle of Western civilization, as it was the birthplace of democracy, philosophy, and many other elements of classical civilization. The city is home to iconic landmarks such as the Acropolis, Parthenon, and various museums that showcase its historical and cultural heritage. On arrival our local representative will meet & transfer you to our hotel in Athens. Evening free at leisure to explore this beautiful city on your own.

Breakfast

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel & proceed for Half Day Athens City Tour with Acropolis Museum. Our local expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex. Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis Museum.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today you have free time at leisure (on own) to relax in your hotel or you can opt for option sightseeing in Athens such as full day trip to Delphi, Meteora OR you can opt for trip to Hydra, Poros and Aegina Day Cruise.

About Destination

Arrive in Athens, transfer to your hotel, and relax. The next day, enjoy a city tour and visit the Acropolis Museum. Day 3 is free for leisure or optional activities. On Day 4, transfer to the airport for your flight.
