Ranthambore National Park, located in the state of Rajasthan, India, is a renowned wildlife sanctuary and one of the best places in the country to spot the majestic Bengal tiger in its natural habitat. The park spans an area of approximately 392 square kilometers (151 square miles) and is known for its diverse flora and fauna.
Ranthambore's landscape is characterized by rocky hills, dry deciduous forests, and open grasslands, creating a perfect habitat for a variety of wildlife species. Apart from the Bengal tiger, which is the park's star attraction, Ranthambore is home to other carnivores such as leopards, striped hyenas, and wild dogs. It also houses a significant population of herbivores including sambar deer, spotted deer, Indian gazelles, and wild boars.
