Day 1

| Cairo

Upon arrival in Cairo on 30 November, you’ll be greeted at Cairo International Airport by a friendly guide for your meet and assist service. After clearing customs, you’ll be escorted to your hotel, the Hayat Pyramids View Hotel, or a similar accommodation. As an early check-in has been arranged, you can freshen up and unwind after your flight. Cairo, a sprawling metropolis blending ancient history and modern life, will offer a warm welcome.
After some relaxation or light exploration in the nearby area, your evening holds an exciting experience: an Overnight Dinner Cruise on the Nile Crystal. The Nile, the lifeblood of Egypt, has witnessed millennia of history, and this cruise is the perfect way to begin your journey.
As you float down the tranquil waters, you'll enjoy a mesmerizing belly dance performance, traditional Egyptian folklore shows, and a delightful open buffet dinner with a variety of local and international dishes. The enchanting sights of illuminated Cairo at night, as well as the cultural entertainment, will give you a deeper insight into Egypt's vibrant heritage.
The cruise typically lasts for around 2-3 hours, allowing you to soak in the magical atmosphere of the river and the Cairo skyline. Afterward, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 2

| Cairo

Your second day in Egypt, on 1 December, is dedicated to exploring some of Cairo's most iconic sites. After breakfast, you'll set off on a guided tour to witness the grandeur of the Pyramids of Giza, the only remaining wonder of the ancient world. Standing at the foot of the pyramids, you'll marvel at the ingenuity and scale of these ancient tombs, built over 4,500 years ago for Egypt’s pharaohs. Next, you'll meet the mysterious Sphinx, a massive limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, guarding the pyramids.
From there, you'll visit the Papyrus Institute, where you’ll get a live demonstration of how ancient Egyptians made papyrus paper, one of the earliest writing materials in human history. The institute also offers beautifully crafted artworks and papyrus souvenirs that you can purchase as a memento of your visit.
Next, you'll head to a Perfume Factory, where the ancient art of extracting and crafting natural fragrances is still alive. Egypt has a long history with perfumery, and this stop offers you a chance to explore unique, authentic scents that have been perfected for millennia.
The day concludes with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s most famous market. Here, you can wander through its narrow alleys and vibrant souks, taking in the colorful array of spices, textiles, jewelry, and handicrafts. The market is a perfect place to soak up local culture and buy souvenirs.
After an exhilarating day filled with history and culture, you'll return to your hotel to rest and prepare for the next day's adventure.

Day 3

| Cairo

On 2 December, you'll embark on a full-day excursion to Alexandria, Egypt’s second-largest city and a vital part of the country's Mediterranean coastline. After an early breakfast, your guide will take you on a scenic drive to Alexandria, located about 2.5 hours north of Cairo. Founded by Alexander the Great, Alexandria is steeped in history, blending ancient wonders with modern vibrancy.
Your first stop is the impressive Citadel of Qait Bay, a 15th-century fortress built on the ruins of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. The citadel, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, provides stunning views and a glimpse into the city’s military past.
Next, you’ll visit Pompey's Pillar, a towering Roman column that stands in the remnants of Alexandria's ancient city. This 30-meter-high monument was built in honor of Emperor Diocletian and offers a connection to Alexandria's Roman legacy. Nearby, you'll also find the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, one of the largest Roman burial sites in Egypt, where you’ll descend into underground chambers that showcase a fascinating blend of ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman cultural influences.
Alexandria is known for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, offering a mix of European and Middle Eastern architecture, and its waterfront promenade is a great place to relax and soak in the Mediterranean breeze. After a day full of exploring Alexandria's historical gems, you’ll return to Cairo in the evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for a well-deserved rest. This day trip provides a refreshing contrast to Cairo's hustle and bustle, taking you to the serene and historically rich coastal city of Alexandria.
