About Destination

Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, is a picturesque city nestled in the Kashmir Valley. Famous for its serene Dal Lake, houseboats, and Mughal gardens like Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh, Srinagar offers a blend of natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. The old city's narrow lanes and historic structures reflects the region's glorious past.

Pahalgam, located about 95 kilometers from Srinagar, is a breathtaking hill station known for its lush green meadows, gushing rivers, and snow-capped peaks. It serves as a base for trekkers and nature enthusiasts exploring the surrounding Himalayan ranges. The Lidder River adds to the charm of Pahalgam, offering opportunities for trout fishing and white-water rafting.

Gulmarg, often referred to as the "Meadow of Flowers," is a stunning hill station situated approximately 50 kilometers from Srinagar. It is renowned for its pristine landscapes, snow-capped mountains, and opportunities for adventure sports such as skiing and snowboarding. The Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas.

Together, Srinagar, Pahalgam, and Gulmarg form a trifecta of natural beauty and cultural richness, attracting tourists from around the globe to experience the unparalleled splendor of Kashmir. However, political tensions and occasional unrest have impacted tourism in the region, highlighting the delicate balance between its natural allure and socio-political complexities.
